The CCTP Board establishes and maintains a voluntary, the comprehensive certification program for the Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner. The certification and its processes are based on methods currently used in governmental and private sectors that measure competency in security practices. The CCTP Board is a for-profit security certification team which delivers exceptional value by acquiring the best specialists and employing the best assessment methods independently from the influence of governments, private organizations and individuals.

Its purpose is to accredit practitioners by skills, for security. Their skills team is heavily involved in the security industry and work with many across the globe to improve security awareness and standards of professionalism by providing security training courses and security qualifications.

The program is endorsed by the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP); a professional organization of crime prevention practitioners from around the world. Formed in 1977, they continue to network, qualify and educate its members.

They are also endorsed by the International Association of Counterterrorism and Security Professionals (IACSP), which was founded in 1992 to meet the security challenges facing the world as it entered an era of globalization in the 21st century.

IACSP believes that all elements of the world’s societies must become better educated about the threats of terrorism as a first step toward developing innovative and effective countermeasures.

The value of Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner continues to grow. Numerous government, private sectors and media cite the program. And more importantly, many recommend and rely on the program as a vital safety service.
