1. Eligibility Requirements
The program certifies individuals who have demonstrated their proficiency, integrity and professionalism in every aspect of their training to become a certified counter terrorism specialist.
2. Training Requirements
By the end of the course, candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cost and finance management of a project; they will be understand quality control and management and will be conversant with projects schedules, throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. In addition, they will have a fundamental understanding of aspects that influence projects such as stakeholders, estimated values and quantities, revenue, cash flow and risk management. The candidates will be required to successfully complete CTP course covering 14 modules. Candidates applying for the CCTP program will be required to successfully complete in total 27 hours of classroom instruction (contact hours) and to be followed by certification exam.
Professional Experience – Each candidate for obtaining an admission for the certification must have no less than three years of well documented security consulting experience. In case of absence of documentation, candidates may submit various survey reports/ accepted proposal/ schematic drawings etc from verifiable clients.
4. Education Academic Experience
The amount of relevant practical experience required for certification will be determined by the level of higher education the candidate has obtained. The candidate without a Baccalaureate Degree will be required to have at least 5 years of of practical experience as in security , law enforcement, military. The candidate with a Baccalaureate Degree is likely to have more refined documentation and communication skills from the outset, and will need to have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the field. 8 years of direct, broad security management experience may be accepted at the discretion of the Certification Committee as the equivalent of a degree.
5. Certification Examination
Recognizing that the application of what is learned in the classroom is the true value of certification, the CCTP Program requires candidates to demonstrate their ability to apply the skills of the professional project manager to their projects prior to being certified as a Security Project Manager. The final certification examination is a supervised test containing questions from all areas of study and will cover the many aspects of the counter terrorism methods and tools

7. Code of conduct
Eligibility requirements also include no prior conviction of any criminal offense that would reﬂect negatively on the security profession and its certification programs.
